If you plan to fly in to the San Francisco International Airport, you can catch a shuttle van run by numerous transit companies which will bring you directly to the program, usually for under $25 including tip. Walk to the upper DEPARTURE level at the front of the terminal, out the doors and across the street to where the vans are bringing people in. Approach one of the people coordinating shuttle rides (they often have a walkie-talkie) and tell them your destination is 301 Lyon Street (the cross street is Fell) near Golden Gate Park.
Also, Public Transit comes to the SFO airport via a People Mover light rail that connects to BART. Take BART to Powell Street Station, emerge from the subway, cross Market Street, and take Hayes Bus #21 to Lyon and Hayes Street. The house is one block toward the park. Total cost is approximately $12.00 for BART, $2.00 fo rthe bus.

Traveling South From the Golden Gate Bridge/North Bay
After crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, continue on the 101 South as it turns into Richardson Blvd. Turn slightly to the left on Lombard Street. Take a quick right on Divisadero Street and continue on Divisadero until you reach Hayes. Turn right on Hayes, and go three blocks to Lyon St. Turn left onto Lyon, and the Urban house will be on your right at the corner of Lyon and Fell Streets.
Traveling West From the Bay Bridge/East Bay
After crossing the Bay Bridge, take the “101 North, Golden Gate Bridge” exit to the Fell/Octavia Streets exit (434B). Proceed straight 5 signals and turn left onto Fell Street. Travel approximately 1 mile to Lyon Street. Turn right on Lyon, and the Urban house will be on your left at the corner of Lyon and Fell Streets.
Traveling North on 280 From the Peninsula/South Bay
Take Highway 280 Northbound. Take the 19th Avenue/CA-1 exit and stay on 19th Avenue for approximately three miles. Turn right onto Lincoln Ave. just prior to entering Golden Gate Park. Continue on Lincoln Ave as it becomes Oak Street. Turn left onto Masonic Avenue, keeping to the far right lane. Take your second right onto Hayes, and turn right onto Lyon St. The Urban house will be on your right just before you reach Fell St.
Traveling North on 101 From the Peninsula/San Jose/South Bay
Take Highway 101 Northbound. Once in San Francisco, stay in the left lane and follow “101 North, Golden Gate Bridge” then take the Fell/Octavia Streets exit (434B). Proceed straight 5 signals and turn left onto Fell Street. Travel approximately 1 mile to Lyon Street. Turn right on Lyon, and the Urban house will be on your left at the corner of Lyon and Fell Streets.
